Two Hernando County wrestlers stepped up on the national stage last weekend, earning All-American honors at the NHSCA High School Nationals in Virginia Beach. Competing across 79 mats, these athletes represented our community with skill and determination from March 27 through 29. This achievement marks a proud moment for Hernando County wrestling and highlights the talent emerging from our local schools. It’s a reminder that Spring Hill and its neighbors keep producing young people who can compete at the highest levels.
Tonight, the Historic Hernando Preservation Society meets at Brooksville City Hall to share stories and celebrate the people who shaped our area. Tomorrow, the Hernando County Family YMCA hosts a glowing Egg Hunt After Dark that kids will enjoy while parents get a break. If you’re looking for a tasty lunch or afternoon pick-me-up today, Marie & Me Coffee will be outside Verizon on Mariner with fresh brews. Later, check out live music options like Ed Hildreth’s acoustic set in Brooksville or Jazz & Soul at Tidal Brewing. Plenty to choose from around town.
